Ingredients
- Goosebumps classic garam masala – 1 heaped tsp
- Paneer – 200 gm (Diced)
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Onion – 2 nos (roughly chopped)
- Green chilly – 1 no
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Ginger – 1 inch piece
- Tomato – 4 medium tomatoes (roughly chopped)
- Cumin seeds (Jeera) – ½ tsp
- Bay leaf (Tej Patta) – 1 no
- Dry red chilly – 1 no
- Kashmiri red chilly powder (Lal mirch) – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder (Haldi)– pinch
- Green peas – ½ cup
- Water – as needed
- Salt – to taste
- Corriander leaves (dhaniya)– (finely chopped)
Method
- Heat half the oil and ghee in a pan and fry the paneer until golden brown, remove and keep aside• Heat half the oil and ghee in a pan and fry the paneer until golden brown, remove and keep aside.
- In the same pan, add ginger, garlic, onion, tomatoes and just enough water to cover and cook until soft. Puree this mixture and keep aside.
- Add the remaining oil and ghee in the pan, add bayleaf, chopped red chilly, turmeric, 1 heaped spoon of Goosebumps Classic Garam masala and the tomato mixture and cook until oil separates.
- Add in the peas, Red chilly powder and fried paneer and cook for 3-5 minutes, Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Check seasoning and serve hot.
