Another recipe originating from the family of our Co-founder, Lime sweet is a traditional Gujarati pickle. We use thin skinned lime for this pickle which can only be sourced during winter so this recipe is made only for 2 months in a year. Once the limes arrive at our factory, they are washed and dried under shade after which they are wiped and kept aside.Four slits are made on the lime and the gaps are stuffed with a mixture of sea salt and turmeric and filled in our pickle jars and then they are left to age for a period of 5 months, during the first 2 months the lime mixture is stirred twice a day, this is done to ensure even pressure is put on all the limes and they turn soft simultaneously, This ageing process makes the lime tender and greatly reduces their bitterness making them ready for the final stage.
The lime is then cut into bite- pieces, sugar and red chilly powder is mixed in and its left to age for a further three to four days until the sugar completely melts.
The pickle is now ready to pack and shipped to our customers.
Small batches
Goosebumps pickles rest for weeks in clay pots for slow fermentation process. We pack them in bottles and they are ready to be dispatched. We make everything in small batches because we want to keep the flavour of the product as fresh as possible. Shipping timeline
The order is normally processed within 24-48 hours post receipt of the order. Orders are not dispatched on Sundays and on public holidays.
Your order will be shipped through the surface mode only (via road transport). It will be delivered in:
1) Metro cities - 4-5 business days
2) Non-metro cities: 5-7 business days
COD orders
Customers receive an automated call for confirmation of the order. Press 1 to confirm. COD orders are individually confirmed with customers before the dispatch of each order and are not dispatched until confirmed from the customer side. In case of delay in confirmation, the dispatch of the same gets affected.
- Cash on delivery (COD) will invite an additional charge of Rs. 50.
- COD is not applicable on Gift Box orders.
We currently offer Cash on Delivery facility for selected pin codes only. Basis the pin code entered in the address field, the system will display the availability of COD option on the Checkout page.
