This product is best before 6 months from the date of packaging.Our Tradition
We use Bhavnagri chillies for this traditional recipe, these chillies are juicy, firm and not very hot so they are ideal for this traditional Gujurati Athena marcha.Once the chillies arrive at our factory, they are immediately washed and dried. The stalk is removed and its cut into half, this is done to remove the seeds. Once the seeds are gone the chillies are cut into bite sized pieces.
Salt and turmeric are mixed into the chilly (this is done to remove excess water, season the chilly and give the chilly a yellowish tinge).
The cut chillies are then dried on cotton cloth for 3-4 hours to drain out the excess moisture. Rai kuria, Lime juice, vinegar are then added and the pickle is left to marinate for 24 hours. The Pickle is then spooned into porcelain jars and stored away from sunlight.
Our Athela marcha is now ready to be shipped to our customers.
Small batches
Goosebumps pickles rest for weeks in clay pots for slow fermentation process. We pack them in bottles and they are ready to be dispatched. We make everything in small batches because we want to keep the flavour of the product as fresh as possible. Traditional condiment that is a true rendition of the homemade pickles.Shipping charge

Shipping timeline
The order is normally processed within 24-48 hours post receipt of the order. Orders are not dispatched on Sundays and on public holidays.
Your order will be shipped through the surface mode only (via road transport). It will be delivered in:
1) Metro cities - 4-5 business days
2) Non-metro cities: 5-7 business days
COD orders
Customers receive an automated call for confirmation of the order. Press 1 to confirm. COD orders are individually confirmed with customers before the dispatch of each order and are not dispatched until confirmed from the customer side. In case of delay in confirmation, the dispatch of the same gets affected.
- Cash on delivery (COD) will invite an additional charge of Rs. 50.
- COD is not applicable on Gift Box orders.
We currently offer Cash on Delivery facility for selected pin codes only. Basis the pin code entered in the address field, the system will display the availability of COD option on the Checkout page.
