Moong Dal Khichdi

Ingredients
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Rice – ½ cup
- Yellow Moong dal – ½ cup
- Goosebumps Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
- Garlic – 1 tsp (Chopped)
- Ginger – 1 tsp (Chopped)
- Onion – 1 no. medium (Chopped)
- Goosebumps Khichdi Masala - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Water – 4 cups
- Coriander – for garnish (Chopped)
Directions
- Wash the moong dal and rice well, add them to a bowl and soak for 15-20 minutes, once done, drain and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin, garlic, ginger and onion and sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add 1.5 teaspoons of Goosebumps khichdi masala and turmeric powder, sauté for a minute.
- Add the rice and moong dal mixture, salt, water. Cover and pressure cook on medium flame for 4 whistles.
- Once pressure is released from cooker, open, adjust consistency with water if needed and serve hot garnished with coriander and a sprinkling of Goosebumps Khichdi Masala.
